What is High Protocol?

I tend not to have a big set of written rules for my subs to follow. I find it's unwieldy, every relationship comes with different needs and expectations, every dynamic has its own appearance and energy - from play partners to vanilla with kink, to switches, to submission within certain areas, all the way to full M/s (Master/slave).

However as Mistress of Protocol at Dublin's only Femdom night - The Goddessa Club - I am often asked to explain what i mean by that word. Here is an (incomplete) list of my Slave Protocols. Please note - these are geared towards lifestyle slaves who aspire to live in, 24/7 service. As they say in Pirates of the Carribbean, these are more what you'd call guidelines than actual rules.

Slave Protocols

On entering

Immediately remove all clothing and store neatly. Retrieve the collar from its place, come before Mistress, kneel and offer Her the collar with slaves head bowed. Wait until She acknowledges slave and takes it, places it upon its neck. At this point slave may kiss each of Mistresses feet once as a thank you. Slave may also say “Thank You Mistress for allowing slave to serve. Do You have any instructions”.

On service

Slave is to be naked at all times when serving, unless otherwise instructed. If it has a penis, is not in chastity, and it becomes erect, slave is to apologise to Mistress for its rudeness. Slave is to do this in front of guests also. When not in use, it is to remain kneeling at Mistresses feet, but remain alert for any needs She or Her guests may have. If slave requires to use the bathroom, or requires food or drink, await a suitable pause in service or conversation and request respectfully. At all times ensure to serve Mistress and others before itself. If slave is allowed to eat, it will be from a bowl on the floor on all fours, allowed a spoon only unless otherwise stated. It is slaves responsibility to ensure it is adequately fed and hydrated at all times.

On leaving

Once slave has been released from service, ask if slave may get dressed, then come and kneel at Mistresses feet once more, head bowed. Once the collar is removed, once again kiss Her feet, and thank Her for allowing it to serve. Then it may take its leave.

On messaging

Always address Mistress by title, never by name. Message every morning as the first act on waking - at the specified waking time. Message every evening as the last act before sleeping - at the specified sleeping time. Understand that Mistress has better things to do than to reply often, but She is not to be kept waiting for a reply to Her messages. Always capitalise the Y in You, when referring to Mistress, and be aware that errors in grammar, spelling and punctuation will be subject to punishment.

On Fetlife/Social Media

Slave’s profile reflects it’s owner. As such, slave need permission before it posts any text or photos. Email communication with friends is allowed, as is appreciation for images it enjoys or deems Mistress would enjoy. New friend requests need to be approved by Mistress unless slave has met them while in Her presence.

On serving others

At times Mistress will entertain guests. Slave will be expected to serve them as vanilla guests - ensure they have food and drink, take their coats etc. Slave is not obliged to obey or to be subject to play with these people unless specifically instructed by Mistress. At times it will be loaned out to other dominants for use by them, in this instance slave is to obey them as it would Mistress, bearing in mind that use of safewords is allowed - Mistress does not want Her property damaged. If these dominants wish to use slave sexually this will need to be agreed with Mistress, and safe sexual practices must be followed at all times. Slave is never allowed to orgasm at these times, as it exists for use, not its own pleasure.

On public events

At times slave will be allowed to accompany Mistress to public events. Its role for the evening will be to ensure that Mistress does not have to be concerned with things like carrying bags, fetching drinks etc. It may also be used for pain or other service at these events, and it may be loaned out to other dominants for use. At all times it is to refer to Mistress formally. Other Dominants are to be called Sir and Miss unless they state otherwise. It is allowed to talk to others, provided Mistress does not have a use for it at that time. It is never allowed to use furniture, it is to sit on the floor at Mistress feet when not in use.

On domestic duties

Each week, Mistress requires Her room to be cleaned and tidied, bathroom cleaned, floors hoovered and mopped throughout the apartment. On each visit in the evening, it is to ensure that Mistress’ bed is made neatly before She retires, and that there is fresh water at her bedside. It is also to ensure that any toys/furniture that have been used have been cleaned/put away.

On chastity

Slave is to remain chaste at all times unless otherwise instructed. If it is allowed to orgasm, the method will be determined by Mistress. If at any stage slave breaks chastity it should inform Mistress and request punishment. This includes any form of self pleasure or watching of pornographic material.

On punishment

Obviously at times it will make mistakes, act inappropriately, and require correction. This will take several forms whether remotely or in person. Remote punishments can include cold showers, floor sleep, diet restrictions, removal of socialising privileges, lines or essay writing tasks. In person punishments can include wearing the punishment chastity device (male), sackcloth and cilice, cage time, nipple clamping, caning, speech/eye contact restrictions. Slave will be told to leave Mistress’s presence or not allowed to communicate with Mistress only for the most severe of misbehaviour - such as dishonesty, or direct disobedience. When it has misbehaved, it is to immediately accept responsibility, with no explanations or excuses. It is to apologise sincerely and ask for punishment. Once punishment is completed it is to thank Mistress for this.

On communication

Unless slave is on speech restrictions, it is free to communicate its thoughts with Mistress at all times, provided it asks permission to speak first. Obviously Mistress will often be busy and have more important things to do than to listen to slave, however. If slave has any questions or concerns regarding its service, it is to bring them to Mistress in private, in a respectful manner, but as promptly as possible.

On the timeline

An initial public meeting, followed by a one day trial of service and pain, leads onto a one month trial as a slave. During this time slave is to behave in every way as an owned slave. If Mistress is happy with how slave has conducted itself, slave will earn the right to it’s own training collar. It will also be allowed to put “in training” on it’s online profiles, and She will acknowledge slave on Hers. This training period can last six months or more, depending on the frequency of availability. At the end of this period, slave will be given a permanent day collar, and allowed to place “owned by” on its profile. If service continues to be satisfactory, more permanent markings such as tattoos, piercings or branding may be discussed after a period of at least further one year has passed.
